Wrisley Abrasives LLC was created in 1989 by Bruce Wrisley of Simsbury, CT. Bruce started and operated his business the same way he lived his life; with honesty, love for life, and a sense of giving. Unfortunately, on November 14, 2003, Bruce tragically passed at the early age of 52. Upon his passing, Bruce's son-in-law, Dan Patrick, took ownership of the company.
Before joining Wrisley Abrasives LLC, Dan earned his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology at the University of Maine. After graduating, he worked as a Process Engineer and Sales Engineer, manufacturing and selling datacom hardware in Silicon Valley.
Using his engineering training and background in technical sales, Dan continues to operate Wrisley Abrasives LLC with the same principles it was founded on. Read Dan's bio here.

Today and Beyond
Today, the folks at Wrisley Abrasives LLC provide diamond and CBN tooling that is engineered specially for customers' applications. Various bond types and tool geometries can be designed to grind hard materials efficiently. Catalog tools are available for quick deliveries and custom tools are manufactured daily. Wrisley Abrasives LLC services several different industries including Medical, Bearing, Aerospace, Glass, Technical Ceramics, and Crystals, to name a few.
The future of Wrisley Abrasives LLC is exciting. The core business of superabrasive tooling continues to grow and new products are frequently introduced. Products such as lapping/polishing powders, slurries, and coolants now provide customers a more complete solution than ever before.
